Chris leads the digital art and culture programme at Phoenix Leicester, an independent cinema and art centre, an Arts Council England National Portfolio Organisation dedicated to exploring the creative and cultural impact of media and technology. Chris has commissioned and presented work by leading international digital artists and creators including Julian Oliver, Semiconductor and Anab Jain. He also managed a programme of support and development for emerging artists that has seen new commissions from exciting young artists like Kitty Clark. Chris’ background is in contemporary art practice and curating, holding a BA in Fine Art from De Montfort University and a Masters degree in Art Museum and Gallery Studies from the University of Leicester.
